Mandana Shaya, DMD
Dr. Shaya truly believes that great dentistry is built upon great relationships, and of course, all relationships require an introduction! She grew up in Baltimore County after immigrating to the US in 1995, and now, she strives to help her patients feel welcome in our dental office while providing them with reliable and top-quality care. What Affiliations Are You Apart Of?
Dr. Shaya is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association. She believes that learning is lifelong and assures that she can provide the highest level of care by taking extensive continuing education courses on a variety of dental topics.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Shaya graduated cum laude from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2010, and she then attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, earning her DMD in 2015. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2016 at the University of Pittsburgh.
After spending a few years in Pittsburgh, she decided to move back to Maryland to be closer to family. She spent two years working in public health dentistry on Maryland’s Eastern Shore while living in Annapolis. She fell in love with the waterfront city and decided to settle here. Dr. Shaya eventually joined Chambers Family Dentistry in January 2020.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she is not working, Dr. Shaya loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys exploring the great outdoors and traveling to new destinations.
